How do I declaw puppies

I have 12 lab puppies and I wanted to declaw them myself, is that possible

Answer #1

Uh, if you haven’t done it before, I wouldn’t recommend doing so. You’re cutting off a BONE, there is going to be a lot of pain and a lot of blood loss- if you really feel like you have to have this relatively cruel and unnecessary procedure done, I highly suggest taking the pups in to a vet. If you do it yourself and don’t know what you’re doing, the pups could get a serious infection- remember, again, toes have bones. If you expose that deep a part of any animal, it could cause a bone infection, or serious skin/tissue infection and the treatment and antibiotics will be more expensive than paying for a professional to do it.

Answer #2

Err… don’t even try. Why do you want to? I think it is cruel to the animals. Its like someone removing the top of your fingers. Nice.

Answer #3

Do not even attempt it!!!

Not only should you not declaw an animal on your own, puppies don’t require declawing.
