I recommend efferdent soak and a light toothbrush (without paste) to take off build up. Rinse and put it back in your tongue :D
I have to wear a mouthguard at bedtime, so it is something that I just have to have anyway. But it is pretty cheap.
I’m sure you could, then rinse them with water. I usually put mine in a pan and boil them for a few, it’ll kill almost anything. Then you can more easily wipe off any bulidup just be careful, they’ll be hot :P

yeah peroxide works, that’s what I used for my lip rings and to clean everything else
MOUTH WASH AND REMOVING TO CLEAN WONT HURT YOU
DUHHH TAKE THEM OFF AND CLEAN THEM
