Yes dogs do suffer from boredom. Thats why you walk the twice a day once in the morning and once a night. Otherwise the will start getting disruptive and rip up the couch. Also to make breakfast fun for him/her throw a handful of dog biscuits out in the backyard. Let the dog find the food they have a nose for a reason you know.

Oh yes they do…and when they are really bored they’ll dream up stuff to do that is usually destructive. Some dogs are more content just laying around, than others…and some will litteraly rip the walls down in your house.

Daily exercise of some sort (physical and mental) is the way to avoid problems.

When you see them quietly staring off into space, that is not a sign of boredom…just lost in doggie thoughts, like a human.

I agree with phranie. Dogs are very much like humans. They do get bored. Take them for a walk, or atleast let them out into your yard. They need some kind of exersise.

Answer #6

yes dogs do get bored, they can feel neglected and depressed due to a lack of attention from their owner. something you can do to help prevent your dogs from being bored is taking them on walks, training them, grooming them, spending quality time with them, and buying toys for them to play with seems to be a good sollution. toys alow the dog to play with when you are busy and cant spend time with them. also a bone or a chew toy is a great thing…my dog loves to chew on her marrow bone. but also having toys around the house..the dog can let you know when it wants to play with you (when it is excited and jumping or running around playfully with the toy) hope this helped

Haha. yes. they do take it from my dog!! If its raining and she cant go outside she’ll lay on her pillow. just staring at us and all of a sudden she just moan if we walk by or make any movement. All she’ll act like a kid just trying to get her way. with a puppy face haha.
