How do I tell my best friend I like him?

I have a problem… again…

Well, I hate having this feeling inside… I like my best friend… The problem is, is that he likes his x who is moving and she likes someone else who is also moving… My best friend whom I like, Always talks to me, I tell him everything. If I lie to him I have to tell him the truth, He always helps me with everything and when I have a problem (crying) he always cheers me up. If I have to talk to him hes always there. I liked him about two years ago but never really looked into it because he had a girlfriend, I didnt like the girl but if he was happy that was cool. I grew out of it (I thought I was) and found new guys, but none of them ever gave me this feeling, of being wanted and actually cared for. My friend and I have been on the phone everyday for about three or four months and we talk over 6 hours a day (I looked at the times on my phone) haha Hes an awesome guy, Hes very talented with guitar and hes in a local band that I take pics for at shows and there practice. I love all of those guys in there.

I want to tell him how I feel about him, but im scared if I do that he will neer talk to me again. I dont know what to do about all of this. My feelings for him wont go away. and I wish they would. But I have this weird feeling that if I stop talking to him he wont have anyone to talk to. He friend who is also in the band is really weird about stuff like this.

I dont know what to do. Help?
