Why are preps so stuck up?

Some people are stuck up, yes, but theres no need to stereotype. Some people just have a stuck up type personality, so what let them be that way. Just ignore it and move on with your life. :)

Because somebody has to do it.

Also, I was like hubberz (above), people thought that I was stuck up and I was just shy. No one would speak to me so I thought THEY were stuck up. Don’t worry about it. There’s a lot worse things to worry about.

Well, I dont know that we need to call them that, but there is a TON at my school. They think they are better than everyone when clearly they arent. Look at their attitudes. Are they better than the rest of us?? Not if they act that way. They only make fools of themselves at least around me and my friends, whether its a glare, whatever they arent better than anyone else so I say ignore them and dont let them get to you.

People find different catagories to fit in based on there age, personality and genre…prepps is just another one, I must admit whenever I go past preps (which are metrosexuals here) they do seem like selfish b*stards who think there better tha everyonne else, there dadies buy everything for them and they have never worked a day in their lives…

Some I’ve overheard and known are really dckheads, all they ever think about is money,sx…etc etc…

There are an odd few I’ve met that are different, but im not exactly jumping to be their friends…its just a catagory they like to associate with and have friends of the same type.

You act like gothic, emo, skater, hippie, old, new, white, black, purple it don’t matter. We all are stuck up to some degree, and despite what you may think you are too… Have you ever said “no” to a guy who asked you out? I’m sure you have, why? Because he’s not your type, or not cute enough, guess what that’s being stuck the f*ck up… So stop being sooo hypocrytical!!! ty

I understand where you are coming from, but some people are not stuck up, and all that, some people think I am, but im not , um just really shy so dont be too wquick to judege someone as a quote “prep”. But some people just have a different outlook on things so therefore pepople are that way.
