How--can you have bangs with curly coarse hair?

I am half grenadian and half portuguese and I have currly coarse hair I really want side bangs but I do not want to end up with a big puff ball on top of my head so is there a way to get bangs or is it not possible

you can cut your bangs and straighten them and leave the rest curly…that would look cute! and it takes like 5 min to straighten your bangs! =]

I have extremly curly hair. In fact both my parents have curly hair so I have it doubble. Not only is it curly but it’s thick and long and annoying. But.. I have bangs :) I use the pink Bed head product which you can usually find at your local grocery store in the shampoo isle and walmarts carry it as well and I straighten it. Best kind of straighner is one with like a comb in it. that way it actually straightens the hole thing. I bought mine off tv a few years ago but im sure they sell these types in stores by now. Hope this helps :)
