Our dog has arthritis, hip dysplacia and other medical problems. She is so crippled that there is no way she could get in the backseat of our car to go to the vet. Plus being over 100 pounds we can't carry her in. Both of us are 62 and not strong enough to life her into the car. We called our vet and they do not go to homes to euthanize. They have been her vet for 11 years but the main vet died this past year and all compassion is gone. This is the sweetest dog that ever lived and when I look in her eyes it's like she is pleading for us to do something. Any ideas? There's another vet in town and they don't come to homes either.
im sorry and I know its hard but you only option may either be get help from someone like a nieghbor or family member to help you load him in and out of the car to get to the vet or unfortunaltly you have to just wait it out and hopefully he will pass away soon so he will no longer have to suffer
im really sorry to hear about your dog. when our dog was dying {he was a big dog to} it was just me and my mom im 5'2, she 4'11 we put a large sheet under him and I took one end she the other and we transfered him that way. he was really heavy, but we had to. you have my deepest sympathy.
yes you need to find somebody to come help you lift her into the car. then once you are at the vets office go inside and inform them you are there and that you need to have a few people come out and help you bring her in... sorry to hear about your dog but I hope this helped
find some one to help you get the dog in the car it can only be helped by vets
where I work the doctor will come out to your house.
