How can you avoid Ingrown Hairs?

Like on your legs, “down there”, and armpits?

Like everything I’ve tried doesn’t do anything. I still get the same results- Ingrown hairs. And I find it very embarrasing!

Any Advice?

if you get them badly ALWAYS use a new razor blade…and for down there I know this is weird but a lot of strippers do this…get cheap mens deodorant and put it on and shave with that…it really works trust me I tried it…there is womens aftershave products for it that really sooth like razor burn and stuff and prevent ingrown hairs try and get some of that…I had the kind with the aloe and I worked and made my skin feel amazing plus you wont have to shave for as long…and/or you could always go for waxing :]

Yeah I get them too. Some people are just more prone to them I guess. You shoul shave in the direction of hair growth and always use a good amount of shaving cream or gel. Make sure it’s always clean too. And when I get them I put sea breeze on them and it makes them go away. As long as you keep them clean and dry they’ll most likely go away within a few days. The only way to really avoid them though is not shaving where you get them. But sometimes that’s just not an option!

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! Use a facecloth in those areas daily to stop the skin growing over the new hairs coming up. Rub it the opposite way to the hair growth. There are exfoliation products you can buy - creams with grainy bits in them - but they’re no more helpful in my opinion, than an abrasive facecloth.

*(Exfoliation just means using a slightly abrasive product to remove dead skin cells… )
