How can I tell my mum that I want to become a figure skater?

I want to be a figure skater but I don’t think my mum would let me because for christmas she got me these hockey skates!! so I think she will be a little anoyed off when I tell her I want 2 do figure skating and I’m going to need figure skatess xx I want to tell her with out her shouting at me… how do I tell her that??? xx And does anyone now how much the lessons are at the sky dome in coventry? xx

Just go strαight to it. She might be α little disαppointed but she’ll be hαppy for you, If thαts whαt you reαlly wαnt. Im sure she’d like you to do whαt you wαnt to do, αs long αs you stick into it. Good Luck :)x

if you just start lessons, then chances are your teacher will tell you you need figure skates and you could get your teacher to tell your mum. that way its not your fault lol. I was a figure skater for years, and you can start on hockey skates, but you will need figure skates later on. if you havent used the hockey skates, chances are you can return them.

I figure skate at the oakton ice arena and a full session there is about 2000…you can return the hockey skates and get figure skates, or you can rent ones or get used ones…shes rite…your mom just wants to see you happy…its good your getting into figure skating…its a great sport to do…make sure you join at a rink that is really close with their skaters…my rink…everyone is like family and it makes it a lot more fun that way

Just sit down and talk to her about it. She will obviously be a little disappointed that she got you hockey skates instead of ice skates but in the end she just wants to see you happy. If ice skating is something you like to do than you can expect your mother to support you in it. :)
