How can I tell if my parakeet is pregnant?

no DON’T sqeeze it that is bad just get your parakeet a little nest from the pet store and if the parakeet is pregnant it might lay the egg in there but sometimes some pet birds will lay the egg in the floor or in the food dish or anywhere else in the cage so have something very soft in the cage almost everywhere in there except the top of the cage and make sure the thing you put in there is very thick and has layers like a bunch of hay or a bunch of tissues or even a bunch paper towels or just one towel folde in the cage or even toilet paper would work but you would need a bunch of it and change the soft stuff when it is dirty just make sure you put some back in there and get the soft stuff first and then change the stuff to be safe!:) you know so you will have the new stuff you are going to put in there right by your side and just in case watch the water dish carefully remember they can lay eggs anywhere so keep the parakeet in the cage for a while so the egg will be layed in there and make sure the bird can’t get out.
