So there's this guy who really likes me, (brian) and I really don't like him, lol at all I mean he buys me cards and stuff all the time I really don't know why, and before he starts gaining the impression that I like him, I want him to know that I don't ok ,but don't want him to feel bad ok!
It's almost too late really - but it's a good thing you are thinking over what to do. He WANTS you to like him, but you don't, I understand. And if you continue to act as you are, he will probably seek other ways to get your attention, or give up. I doubt he will continue to try to get your attention after a while however - but so you don't hurt him too much, I advise you to first, tell him you have noticed that he likes you, BUT...I'd rather just have you as a friend. Undoubtedly, he will be hurt by this - but its better you tell him now, rather than later where he is following you all over the place, sending you lavish gifts, etc, still hoping to get your attention.
I was in a similar situation a month ago, as a matter of fact. I went after this girl who hid her feelings from me. She never, never, told me that she noticed that I liked her. So I went beyond following her - I began to try to bump into her everywhere, playing the online game we both played and giving loads of stuff to her, and even sending her flowers. I was so angry after I sent the flowers that I questioned her if she had noticed me - she told me yes, and continued to act as normal, ignoring my advances. And at the very end, I became depressed - and she got pissed at me and told her friends about how "annoying" and "overprotective" and how I went emo over everything she said. All this was because she hid everything from me, and continued to let me keep guessing. So, don't cause the same thing to happen to him - I promise you, it hurts. Tell him to avoid my crisis. Once we guys assume things, we follow it all the way through - that's just how ... uh...shallow we are. The sooner you tell him, the less pain he'll feel.

you can tell him by saying that there are many other girls out there better then me, and that he is perfect but not the perfect one for you..
