How can I talk to my dean about a saturday ?

Man I had a saturday school today.and I trusted my grandma to wake me up.(I asked her to). So I didn’t set my alarm clock.well I made a big mistake. She woke up a little late. And I had like 10min to get to the city bus stop. And get dress.well I miss it.and it to late to walk now.so am screw and I already know the dean of my school is gonna call me in his office on monday.ill 99% probably get kick out of school for like a few days.any idea how I can try talking him into letting me off the hook (he not a easy person to convince)

The problem here is that you’re not taking responsibility for yourself.

You can’t go through life relying on other people to wake you up in time - you have to learn to be more self-sufficient.

There’s no way you’re going to convince the dean that you did nothing wrong. You should have set your own alarm…it’s called being dependable.

Chalk this up to experience.

Ask your grandma to write a note on why you didnt come in. Just be honest. There isnt much you can do in that situation.
