How can I take my braces off?

okay…well. im not really taking them off, I just figured a lot of people would look at it because I know a lot of people ask this question…ANYWAYS… Last ngiht was halloween, and some house decided to hand out some ancient air heads and I bit into it and one of my braces came off the tooth; however, its still on the wire. So my question is. does anyone know how I can open the doors on them to get it off the wire? Its REALLY, REALLY annoying. It was on the tooth..like sort of resting on it but it moved back again and now its inbetween that tooth and the one behind it so its REALLY bugging me…So anyone know how I can do that? If it helps I think I have damon braces, I think thats the kind/name. PLease let me know/help me id appreciate it.

I’m only asking because its hard for my mom to miss work to take me to the orthodontist, and I dotn want to really wait like 3 weeks.

yeah happened to me too go back to the orthodontist and they’ll reglue it definatly wouldn’t try to take it off though just tell them what happened, they got me into the office that day and fixed it. just leave it alone.

Oh, well umm that happened to me and the only way to get it off is going to the ortho that I know of. I wouldn’t try to open the doors on your brackets because that jsut wouldn’t be a smart idea! lol I know it is really annoyingjust try not messing with it (if possible) and get to the ortho ASAP
