How can I sue the school for a injury to a student by a teacher?
My boyfriend and I was walking through the doulble doors during class changing and a teacher shoved the other doulble door open carelessly and it gashed the back of my foot open. I had to get four stiches. could I sue?
I am looking for a reason to sue my school all the time. I doubt you could but if you are really interested give a lawyer a phone consultation and make sure you sound serious about it.
No unfortionatly… I fractuered my hand in 3 diff. places but I couldnt sue cause it wasnt the schools equipment it was the teachers!!! so I dont think you can sue for stiches if it was an accident… SORRY!!!
probably not…it was an accident the teach didnt physically touch you to hurt you…people slam open doors all the time…
You could sue them. You might not win or anything. You can, though. But like you said, the teacher CARELESSLY slammed the door open.
