How can I stay just friends?

I feel stupid asking people advice on the Internet, but you c there’s this girl I really like and I only c her 3 months every year. During the rest of the year I can’t stop thinking about her. I didn’t have the nerve to ask her for her cell # and now that I do, I still won’t see her 4 another 7 months! I also never get to talk to her on her own because of her pesky friend. Am I gonig crazy?

Let me clarify that I don’t have her #, I’m simply saying that I could think of a way to ask her for it without sounding creepy or stalkerish.

well im sure she has the internet now that you have her number as well as calling and texting her to keep the comminication up you can ask her on the phone for her e-mail, msn, social networking site profile address, ect and talk to her their as well
