How can I scan my paper and edit it?

Is there a way I can put my paper in my scanner and edit it using microsoft word because I dont feel like writing and dont feel like typing all the questions

Hi,

You need an OCR-software for that. It needs to be installed on your computer.

Such a software can recognize the letters in a scanned document and make an editable file out of it. Those softwares are either expensive or faulty. Anyway you’ll need to go through it and look out for errors.

Unless it’s more than 50 pages, you’re faster if you type.

The alternative is to scan it in a picture format (.jpeg), then you open it with paint. Then you use the textbox-tool to fill in letters. That will be a lot of work too, because you need to place the textboxes appropriately and you need to do all the formating that word usually does for you.

Or you ask whoever gave it to you for the original file.
