How can I repair my Ipod touch if tha screen is cracked?

I was walking home and listening to my Ipod,I accidentally dropped it .. I wasn’t worried because it has a case and a screen protector,until I picked it up and flipped it over it I found out that it was CRACKED! I’m wondering where and how can I repair it.. I bought it at Circuit City so I’m wondering if I could go to tha Apple store and have them repair it for me?Is that possible?

yea… go 2 apple store anywhere, or just call them… either they’ll fix it or your gonna get a new ipod touch. hope dis helps! :)

Yeah you definitely need to send it in somewhere. Call Apple and talk to an agent and tell them about your problem. They’ll help you from there. And you should know that you can’t repair it by yourself.

I doubt a warranty will cover it, seeing as the damage is your fault, but then again I’ve never used anything by Apple so I don’t know what they cover. You may have to deal with the cracked screen or buy a new one though.

The screens are easily replaced just like the iphone screens are. (I’ve personally replaced several co-workers Iphone screens $20 in parts for $50) You can go on ebay and buy the repair kit. Then search for Ipod Touch Screen Replacement video

The repair kit gives you all tools needed to replace the screen (you will need a blow dryer)

The video will walk you through step by step on how to repair it.
