  1. weight loss does NOT happen fast and certainly not in a day
  2. your 16, your not 12 anymore, its no longer appropriate for whatever height you are to weigh as much as a 12 year old your body NEEDS to put on weight if your friends think your too skinny, there probably right if you tried anorexia, you need to get help becausew im sure you dont want to f*ck up your health and risk death

you also need to see a doctor and get your bmi (body mass index) calculated for your height and age he/she will tell you what weight range your in and how much you need to loose/gain if your not in the healthy weight range see a doctor first because I HIGHLY doubt you have anything to loose and I suspect you actually need to gain weight because you sound extreemly unhealthy…and unrealistic

Ever seen the photos of the children in starving countries that are all skin and bones but they have these big pot bellies that stick out? That’s called malnutrition.

Sounds like you are WAY too concerned about the weight. How tall are you? 109 too big?!?! That’s crazy! Honey listen to your mom and your friends. Seriously. They know you best and see you every day. They see you more clearly than you can see yourself right now. It’s kinda like one of those old paintings; if you stand too close to it you can’t tell what it is and it’s just a jumble of colors splashed together but if you step back from the picture and look at ALL of it then you see it all and see what a beautiful masterpiece it really is.

Take a step back. You are too close to the situation to see yourself clearly. If you tried anorexia then that could be the reason for your belly bulge. Mom is right though, and any doctor, fitness guru, or personal trainer will tell you, that muscle does indeed weigh far more than fat. It’s basic physics. Muscle has more mass density where as fat does not.

Example: You have two small boxes. You fill one with marshmallows the other with sand. The box with the sand will weigh far more because it has more mass in it than the box with the marshmallows.

The belly bulge could be water retention. Not unusual in women at all. If you are worried about it and want to drop anywhere from 5-10 pounds quickly then drink some peppermint tea or blackberry tea (no sugar or honey) and that will flush your system of the retained water naturally and safely. In fact most these fad diets that proclaim that you will lose 10 lbs in one week fail to mention that the weight you are losing is retained water weight.

You’re a dancer. You rely on your body to do your art. You need muscles. Without them you cannot do your job. And like a racecar, it might be sleek and pretty to look at, but unless you give it the proper fuel it’s not going to zip around that track, just sit there and look pretty till it rusts into a heap. Don’t be a rusty racecar ;-)

Eat healthy, lots of green veggies and fresh fruits. Eat the right amount of proteins. Your muscles will need it for fuel. Go light on carbs and fats but don’t eliminated them entirely. The body needs a small amount of them for a reason. Whole grains are excellent and a good source of fiber that will keep your digestive system functioning properly.

(something I didn’t ask and you might be embarrassed to say here is also that if you have not properly taken care of your body then you could be constipated and that too will cause lower abdomen bloat.)
