How can I handle this kinda jealousy?

Well,I am in the same calss with a boy who I have a little thing for,I like him but I am jealous of him,we used to in the same class and I like him because he is really good to mebut when we in this class,I still like him but feel alittle threatened,he used to be a lazy student who get bad score but this semester,he became competitive,talented,active,and he is popular,I just can bear someone who used to be worse than me catching up withme,what should I do

I used to feel like this but you just have to do the best you can do. it’s your life and your grades not anyone elses. Dont compare yourself to other people, this just leads you down the wrongtrack and to a life of disappointment! Sorry its a bit harsh, but this is what helped me. :)
