How can I get our computer working again?

Hey guys a while back my lovely father spilled water on our computer.. And now that this laptop we have barley works I’m thinking about trying to fix our old iMac. I plugged it in and it turns on like I can hear it running but the monitor won’t turn on. If any of you know anything about fixing this I’d really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Ooooh, check the ribbon cables and make sure that they are connected. But I agrees, they we’re built so nobody could fix them, damn apple. Lol

Haha. Lmao. Looks like a robot with eyes. This is a tough one. I’m usually good with stuff like this. I removed a virus from our computer the other day. I’m a neeerd! Lol! Have you searched on ask.com? or Yahoo? Believe it or not, but sometimes they really do have some kickass answers. Oh yeah. :P

imacs are tricky like that kinda built with the idea in mind that joe computer user cannot fix it themselves, and taking them in for repairs is costly, I have one and had a disc stuck inside of it for a while took it to the mac store and they charged me 60 bucks to open it and get the disc out.. bottom line is your gonna have to take it in. I spilt oj on my labtop and was able to take off the keys and dry it out, maybe look into fixing the labtop?
