How can I get my friend to respect him?

My friend Naomi doesn’t like my best friend Zach. She says he is ‘’icky’’ and disgusting and creepy etc. I ask her why she thinks that and she says ‘’because he is!’’ like it’s this fool-proof argument and like it’s common sense. She also gets really angry when I try to get her to be a little nicer. There are a lot of people who don’t know her and call her a bitch. I told her that they are judging her before knowing her and she is stooping to their level by judging Zach unfairly. She replied that she wasn’t judging Zach unfairly. And this conversation was at lunch today. This guy Allison who’s friends with me (real name Alex, long story about the name) I think he likes me more than a friend and is jealous of Zach so he was agreeing with Naomi that Zach is creepy and has no expression ever etc. Zach does look different at first but it just takes more to get him to laugh. When me and our other friend Maddie are around he laughs and smiles constantly, because we accept him most and he is happiest then. Plus I just made this deal with Naomi that neither of us should ever bring up Zach around her again D: . How do I get her to realize how mean she is being? She talks about how everyone else is shallow and un-accepting of weirdos and she considers herself a weirdo, and yet she is being shallow and un-accepting without knowing it!

Answer #1

I highly highly highly doubt that. When Naomi acts like she hates someone this much she hates them. Other people she hates, she acts the same way towards them.

Answer #2

maybe she likes him
