I to have a charge,yes it’s hard trying to turn the other cheek.but you must remeber you have to crawl befor you can walk. true that we made poor choices but who would have ever thought that they would still haunt you.I am a 4 time loose in the eyes of texas so trust me I do understand.it sad when you have to prove yourself in order to be come a productive member,what happen to equal opportunity.I’m struggling but I thank god I’m not where I use to be.the choice is yours what I’m basically saying to you.you can either be a re-peated offender or take the bitter with the sweet, we have the power when we are out here;

I was in the same position as you, and it can be frustrating. Don’t expect anything huge to come at first, you will need to work lower level jobs at first. If and when you do get an interview, be honest! Tell them that you know you messed up, and are just trying to move on with your life! good luck!

If your felony is a “wobbler”, meaning that it could have been tried as a misdemeanor, then you can probably get it reduced to and then expunged. Unless you are applying for a state job or state license, you can say that you have never been convicted of a felony.

I got off of probation early and my felony reduced and expunged. I hired an attorney. 559-259-5959 www.theexpunger.com

The felony I received is a felony in itself. I had cancer and had to go on medicaid or die. I did not have insurance. I was a single mom cleaning houses for years when I found out I was sick. I lost my work as I could not do it anymore. So I applied and got the operations.2 years later, I received a letter in the mail I was being investigated for not reporting my under age daughter’s savings(for college) account. I was kinda busy trying to stay alive at that time. It was in the same bank I did report. Thought they knew. If I had intent to defraud them I would have taken the money out of the account. This is one case where dishonesty would have paid off. My life is destroyed for trying to live. The good news despite them, my daughter is now graduating with 2 degrees from a prominent university. I still can’t do the things I need too TOO survive. like get a real estate license, liquor license (my husband wanted to open a bar) I can’t even get a fing job. thanks to a greedy AFDC worker who could not catch the real criminals.
