How can I forget I person I loved for a long time?

u have to date someone eles get that boy off your mind it sucks and hurts and you feellike killing someone but it will happen it happend to me 5 months ago I got a neew boyfriend 3months ago I still miss the a-hole who had a girlfriend 4 days after breaking up wit me

babe we’ve all been there, its like his stuck in your head and everything you do reminds you of what you did with him, I’ve felt the feelings myself but deep down if he doesnt like you the truth is he’s not worth wasting your time and beating yourself up over babe, I suggest you meet up with some mates and plan some cool things to keep your mind off him or just generally try to keep busy and start thinking about other things instead of him x

it takes a lot of time to get over things like that so in time you will eventually forget about him in the meantime try to keep yourself occupied with hobbies and/or hanging out with friends so your not thinking about him

for me I could never forget, I wanted him back and I still somewhat do, but I stick with being his bff. it hurts but, after3 years of being with him and 5 years of trying to forget, I still couldnt forget him. you could possibly try this? if not it takes a looong time..
