so I recently found out I was pregnant, and at my first appt, the doc drug tests me. I have been a user of marijuana for a long time now, its been something that I have been working on for a long time. but I decided to quit for the baby on new years, and then slipped up and took a few hits yesterday. I have another drug test on the first of feb and was wondering if anyone knew how to detox if you were pregnant. dont judge or comment if you dont want to help, I know I should quit, and I am trying. thanks
Seriously? You cannot take anything now that you are pregnant. Anything you try to detox with could hurt the baby. Possibly more than the marijuana. You really need to take a maternity class or something. I'm not judging you for giving drugs to your baby, but you are going to end up accidently hurting this baby. Also, consider going to an actual AA or NA or something like that meeting. If you tried to stop and you know you're pregnant, and yet you still smoked, you're an addict. And a baby does not need an addict for a parent. You need to get support so you can quit and give this baby a good future.
You have to do it naturally if you are pregnant.
Otherwise it could harm your baby.
Everyone is different.
So, it takes a different amount of time for everyone.
Eat healthy foods and drink a lot of fluids (especially water and cranberry juice) all day everyday.
The reason for the healthy foods is that marijuana stores in fat cells.
Healthy foods will cause less of that. Fluids clean out your body.
Also, exercise, but follow the pregnancy guidelines for exercise.
Just stop its not hard there is herbal detox teas but I would not take them if you are pregnant
