How are different forms of energy measured?
You have temperature (measure of kinetic energy) and you have watts (light ouput) and you have kilowatt hours (amount of electricity you're using in your home) and you have miles per gallon (common measure of the energy efficiency of a car).
Are those the kinds of examples you were looking for? If not, please post a follow up to clarify :)
Thermal energy is measured in Joules, Light energy in watts, and electric energy by Kilowats.
