How adjust the rpm on a hard drive?
I dont think there is any easy way. I know most hard drives run at 7200rpm but I know that there are expensive ones that can run up to 10 000rpm but they have signifigantly less space. As in the expensive ones I have not seen more than 8GB whereas the 72000rpm ones I have seen 750gb so I doubt you can increase the speed. Dont know about decreasing it though. I could be wrong but im pretty sure thats the case. If your hard drive is slow then free up space bu using disk cleanup utility, uninstall unwanted programs and then defrag it.
