wher do you reside? It’s funny cause here in ny they show all these commercials about getting a car with bad credit, no credit and so on and so forth. So, I don’t know maybe you should find out where you live cause nowadays they practically give cars just about anyone. Good luck!!

Pay all your bills on-time. Even one missed or late payment will haunt you for years. If you have a lot of unsecured debt relative to your income this will hurt your score. Moving and changing jobs hurts your credit score. The longer you live in the same place and work for the same employer the better for your credit score.

You can start with opening a checking or savings account. Apply for a $250 or $500 loan. Use the money you get from that loan to pay back the loan. Make sure you make the payments on the exact date. That will help a little. Once you have that loan, take out another loan for $1,000 and follow the same steps as the first loan. You can also get a credit card from a local store like JCPenny’s, Belk, Old Navy, etc. charge about $100 on it and make payments on the date they are due. Anything that you have credit on make sure that you don’t go over half of what you qualify for. Like if a creditor gives you a credit limit of $1,000 try to keep it under $500. Hope I helped, let me know how it works out.

Don’t spend any money…

You can get someone with good credit to co-sign with you. Hopefully you won’t let that person down either. I used to work for a large financial institution and it was an issue with younger kids and parents. Good Luck Mama K
