If they were charging me by the hour, I didn’t know it. He looked at what I wanted for my tatoo and calculated the cost.
Mine cost about 65 dollars / hour…but, I’m not sure that’s how he billed.
However, if I was in that business, I’d probably have a fixed hourly rate that I charged, etc, b/c some will be faster than others…and perhaps a “floor” cost, eg, if the tattoo would take less than an hour to complete.
Same with phrannie, no hourly rate that I know of. Mine cost $120 or $160 (I genuinely can’t remember) and it took them 45 minutes.
dont think ive met a tattooist that charges by the hour.. he just lists the prices for the art and thats it
My father’s tattoo on his rib cage took three hours to finish, and the tattoo on his arm took almost four hours and cost three-fifty so i’m not exactly sure.
I didn’t pick art off a wall i brought in a design and the place i was at charged 150 as a flat fee and another 150 an hour after that.
itll be cheaper to fly to gb and have it done over here… and why is it saying i like that post :S oh nm fa is buggy at the mo
