Does horse shampoo help make your hair grow faster or, at least, healthier?

I’m thinking of using Horse Shampoo since I cutt my hair really short cause of split ends and I would like to start taking care of my hair more and growing it out too.

Answer #1

I my opinion nothing can make ur hair grow faster. having healthy hair and cutting about every 6 weeks and not usuing hairstraighners and dyers and curling irons so much, use a repairing shampoo and rince and try to run ur head under cold water after taking a hot/ warm shower massage ur scalp to premote good curculation along with general excersise as it also premotes good blood curulations :)

^^b might i add that the only reason hair seems to be growing slower is cuzz its breaking all the time on average hair grows about 1cm per month

Answer #3

It doesn’t do anything to the speed of which your hair grows, it just has a lot of protein in it which makes the hair stronger and less snappy at the ends, giving it the appearance of growing fast (the ends aren’t snapping like usual). Be careful not to se it for too long because too much protein is atually bad for your hair too and could leave you with hard hair that snaps at the roots. Using protein based shampoos are potentially quite dangerous, just use the shampoo for 2-3 weeks and see the difference it makes. Get a trim first though so you can start fresh!

Renee that is what Reparing shampoo and condtioner is for ^^ it has the right amount of protien for human hair :)

Answer #5

I do not believe so but i know that Garlic Shampoo and Conditnier does….. You can find it at your local Sally’s Beauty Supply Store :D

Answer #6

Actually that is not true, most of the stuff they put in is for marketing, not for the actual real benefit of the consumer.

Answer #7

i use loreal Absolute repair with it woring a treat i used Delva it was ok and I tried wen but since my hair is a lil oily its not good.

Answer #8

Most ‘repairing’ shampoos and conditioners actually are just full of silicon, they make your hair feel soft and fantastic so you think it’s working, but it’s actually just masking the damage and too much use will eventually make your hair snap rapidly at the ends. If you’re using a protein treatment, the way you’ll know if it’s working, is that your hair will actually feel like crap. It will go thick and wiry and will feel gross for about 2 weeks which is how you know that it’s working. After that 2 weeks it will start to feel better and then after about 3 and a half weeks you should stop using the treatment, put in a moisture treatment and it will feel amazing (and be strong and healthy). But as I said before, make sure you get a trim first otherwise it’s all that work for nothing, and make sure you don’t use any heated appliances while doing the treatment because they suck all of the moisture out of your hair.

If your talkin about the mane and tail or sumthinn like that.. it is horsee shampoo.. i used it once and it instantly made my hair greasy wen i woke up.. baddd decision.. but my hair type is the kindd that can get oily fast.. so the ONLY shampoo i can use is herbal essences (hydralicious) sooo yeaa cuz it makes my hair last for about 2 days without being greasyy.
