Hollister, why is it so popular?

k, so its def not cheap BUT it does have a certain look that lots of people like and their sweatshirts and polos are mad comfortable

“one sees, one follows” - jazlovestoskate has said it all!! but… for some reason, it’s diffrent in my school!!… lol… when something popular spreads around my whole school… it dosen’t become popular anymore!! :P

it popular because everyone knows how expensive it is to wear there clothes, so when you have a shirt that say A&F on it everyone knows that you paid a lot of $ for it I used to like it but now it just seems really boring id rather have a cute 2$ shirt than a $40 abercrombie tee that people are impressed by

Honestly, I hate those brands. Why exactly are they popular. I don’t know. I can buy cuter clothes for half the prices of American Eagle, Hollister, and A&F clothes, serioulsy, it’s ridiculous. Some girls (the VERY POPULAR ONES) Brag that they bought a pair of jeans from AMERICAN EAGLE that cost 75$ and guess what, THEY THINK THATS CHEAP!!! SOrry if this offends people, I’m just saying my opinion. I’m sticking to it!

actually its really not that great at all sure they have cute clothes but the only reason people shop there is because the stores have reputations. and just to let yo ukonw all of those places are not that expensisvelike the sales are super cheap so its not that cool to get clothes there. It also makes you look gay and fake when you walk around in stupid t-shirts that say hollister lol

a.e has definatly cute styles..u can get 30$ jeans there [to me thats pretty cheap] am I rich no…can my family and I afford it yes..but to a limit;…am I going to go on a shopping spree in abercrombie..probably not..I’m not really a fan of abercrombie anymore..but yea..I don’t know people like it so they wear it..I guess…

well I wear all of those clothing lines,, and for me its not becasue everyone else is wearing it,, I was wearing a&f when I was in 3rd grade,, and no im not rich,, my aunt bought it for me,, personaly I love the style,, in in to the hole cali look,,and thats what hollister,, is all about,, a.e is just an intersting style,, I don’t know why is popular,, maybe because it is rather expensive,, most people shop the clearence rack,, so dont be jelious because its expensive clothing,,

some people are like sheep if one of them doesnt something the rest will follow people like that usually think if its expensive it must be good and if everyone else is wearing it, then it must be cool and would make them popular or crap like that too as for me, it rather wear somwthing from an op-shop but some poeple want to mimic what they see especially if they see people in the media, celebrities, modles and all that wearing it too subconsciously though, they probably have low self esteem

I LOATH those brands. I’m a bigger girl but they don’t make clothes for anyone in the double digits. Some of their stuff is cute but would I pay out the butt for them? Nope.

I love hollister because it has that surfer girl look and it is chic I love that style… and their clothes are well made and worht the money
