How can I get a hold of my boyfriend in the army?

No, I’m the closest one to him.. the rest of his family/close friends live in Oregon… so I’d be the first to find out anything..

Try writing him a letter. Although, snail mail is slow in the military. :( I guess you can call wherever he stays at or drive to him. It’s kind of hard to contact military people unless they come to you.

ask his family or write a letter to him an ask his parents for adress or whatever

I believe that the best way to contact a person in the military is through the Red Cross.

Word of caution, though: whenever communication happens like this, I believe that the word that you’re trying to contact him goes down through his “chain of command” - so, it probably needs to be something important, if he’s in some type of training or whatever. Further, people have different biases and takes on communications - so, the more people it goes through, the more it might get distorted or whatever. Not saying that the original message you want to get through to the guy will be distorted - just that it seems to be human nature to do so. Good luck.

Thanks, that’s kind of what happened.. I mean, they only looked for him in his room. They didn’t even check anywhere else.

My boyfriends down in afganastain right now, and um .. We talk on msn or fb, he can’t always go on, but when he says he can go on he usallay does or a bit after. We also email eachother a lot, he messages me every nght so I know he’s okay. I record videos of Myself cause I know it makes tyngs a bit easier on him. But if he’s really upset I send him letters and photos of myself, but I make sure I have stuff in the photos that is like a joke between us, I know it’s hard your bf away but hang in there things will get better(:
