hi- I think natural colours look the nicest. Highlights can look so nice if you get the right shade and maintain them. You are best asking a hairdresser which shades you should go for , the best way to give your hair a lift but not go too dramatic to start with is to have highlights of one colour just 1 or 2 shades lighter than your natural hair colour . Then you can always add in another shade later if you want more :)
