Well I disagree. I think you can do it yourself. I would add like a lighter color such as a blonde to a black. That’s if your hair is currently dyed black. Now if your hair is naturally black, then I would add like a honey brown. Either one looks good. Just make sure that you use the best kind of dye and you use a lot of moisturizer. It’ll make your hair look really good. :) Goodluck
Honestly it is to go and see a professional ie- a hair salon. by doing your own hair you are basically heading towards a bad shade, patches and not the right color you were hoping for. A professional will mix a coulor according to your hair and the colour you want. They train for years, they know what they are doing, us- we don’t have a clue and that’s why it goes wrong.
u could try putting lemon juice on your hair then going out in the sun but honestly I do suggest going to a salon
