Henna tattoos

I’m 16. Will I get an allergic reaction? How long do they last?

Answer #1

buy the ready made cone at a spice shop those give nice deep colours always keep your hands moisturised

its very unlikely that you will get allergic to it dont use black henna, those give serious skin problems

it lasts about a week, it depends how often you wash your hands

Answer #2

I got one last year on my ankle and it lasted for like 2 weeks and as long as your not allergic to the stuff in the gel they use you should be fine but dont pick off the gel after let it fall off my friend picked hers off and I lasted less then a week

Answer #3

Natural, vegetable henna is very safe. Just make sure you’re not using black henna. Vegetable henna will color your skin orange that deepens into brown over about 2 days. It should last about 2 weeks, give or take, depending on where you put it and how well you care for it.

If you have it done by a professional ask what’s in the paste. It should have henna, a liquid like lemon juice, tea or water, and maybe some sugar and essential oil. If you buy henna to use yourself, make sure that ingredients are listed on the package. Avoid products that have any of the words “PPD, para-phenylendiamine, coal tar, or “black rocks from the Nile.”
