  Ditto to ichibanarky, ...my first thought was a possible petit mal seizure (dogs can develop seizures for no apparent reason)...but I'd watch and wait and see if she ever has another...she may very well, not. If she does have another, epilepsy is not a hard thing to control, and the meds don't cost much. Many dogs live long normal lives with seizures controlled...

  She may have had a nightmare or a seizure

  Either way, if she appears to be fine now, I wouldn't worry.

  Do keep an eye on her, though, and if it happens again you might want to have a vet take a look at her in case she is having convulsions.
