whats a hernia ? i m having a lump on the top part of my belly button.. is it hernia ? can some one please explain.. is there any other possible problem i m having ?

Hi,

A hernia is a protrusion of a tissue, structure, or part of an organ through the muscular tissue or the membrane by which it is normally contained.

The lump above your belly button could very well be a hernia. You should visit a doctor to diagnose it.
