try this hun…tell your parents that you know that you have to obey and respect whatever decisions they make for you at the moment…but you will stay friends with this person as long as the lord is willing you all to be friends..and from there on you will beable to make your own decisions based on your own experiences with him..its 09 black and white def reunites…stand your grounds..its really nutn you can do to make them understand because if they dont by now they will never..just be crareful and take your time…this applies to any relationship, white, black, asian, doesnt mtterr..good luck hun

Just sit them down and tell that that you are dating someone of color. Tell them that you are not bothered about their views and that you are happy They should understand that you are happy. They need to stop being so pathetic and thinking skin color is EVERYTHING. ugh.
