3 kids want to buy 1 bike they each have 10 dollars and the bike costs 30. The 3 children went to the store and bought the bike the seller said it cost 30. All of them left with the bike. The owner of the bike store comes he asks if he sold the bike yet the seller said yes "for how much"did the owner asked "30 dollars" said the seller the owner replyed that it only costs 25 . The owner gave him 5 dollars to return to the kids. The seller was greedy and took 2 dollars and gave the kids 1 each. The question is if the kids all payed 9 dollars ( the seller gave them back 1 each = 3 ) it would equal to 27 because 3*9 = 27 and the seller has 2 it equals to 29. Where is the last dollar gone?
He gave the kids each back 1 dollar...so, that equals 28, because 25 + 3 is 28.
You can't multiply 3 x 9, it doesn't work that way.
(They each paid, in actuality, 9.3 dollars...28/ 3 = 9.3...9.3 x 3 = 28 rounded)
u got it wrong dude, you dont do 9x3. the seller took two bucks. which leaves 28. 28 divided by 3
UGH TO MUCH MATH 4 ME LOL:)
