HELP! Bison Puppy Pregnant!!

hi my ex-boyfriend let my biscon puppy get pregnant and not by a biscon. Its by a miniture doberman pincher!! I know!! AHH! So my questions: What will they look like? What are they called? What will this do to my dog? Another thing this is her first heat, she just turned 10 months on Oct.28th. I know she is too young and worried about her!!!

Answer #1

take her to the vet and so what if she has mixed-breed puppies? should you care if she doesn`t have perfect pups? so what! just go to a shelter and look how many dogs are cute that are mixed. . . . . . . and after her pups are weaned give her a couple weeks and please spay her, PLEASE!!!

Answer #2

yes, please do let us know what happens…put her on a puppy food if she isnt already on one..Purinia puppy chow is a good brande and its not a real expensive brand either…thats what I have mine on still(while nursing the pups too) …it has more calories and the vitamins she will need.

Answer #3

A 10 month old dog CANNOT have puppies by the way. They’ll either reject them and not feed them or they’ll kill em’ all. It may not even make it through the labor and a C-section costs THOUSANDS… ABORT!

Answer #4

I’ve never heard of a minpin & bicscon frise mix. That’ll be cool. It should be okay though, even if she is very young; just tell your vet if anything seems wrong or you have questions. I don’t know what they’ll look like, probably curly haired minpins with pointy, floppy ears. Feed her lots and lots to help her gain weight to feed the puppies. And like I said, talk to your vet! Good luck! Let us know what happens.

Answer #5

Yeah, It does not cost thousands, a couple hundered, I just had it done 8wks ago to my 4# chihuahua who had one puppy, She may not reject them, I had a female come into my house that was 11 months old and was a great mother, I am not saying all of this is good to do! Just giving you facts. As I said before, it does come with a price and you need to see a vet or you could have major problems,

Answer #6

A c-section doesnt cost thousands and my pug just had her pups and it is something I looked into ahead of time…at my vet if it is after vet hrs it is $60.00 emergency fee and the c-section was $189.00. Still a lot of money if you dont have it. But not thousands. I would just take her to the vet and have them determine what is best…she may do just fine with them…you never know…you need to take her health into consideration…a pregnancy isnt easy on any dog, no matter the age.

Answer #7

Look if you are really worried and have no idea how to help a dog whelp a litter then I would take her the the vet and get her spayed now. How far is she into the 63 days. I would also get a new boyfriend. This is why puppies end up at the shelters. I am not saying they are not going to be cute, but it sounds like this was a unwanted litter and she is dog young and she may not except the pups, this means you will be mommy, Up every 4 hours feeding them for the next 4 wks. Look it is a lot of work and to much for a 10 month old to handle, she could do great, but do you want to take that chance? she needs to see a vet, get x-ray done closer to due date, puppies need to be dewormed and shots, do you have all the money for this? We are here for you, but you need to make a choice.

Answer #8

Some vets do doggie abortions…if you really don’t want pups, that is an option…But DO take this baby in, as she’s very young for having puppies.

There really isn’t a name for this combo…but since they will be small dogs, you will probably have an easier time finding homes for them, than if they’d been big dogs.

The pups will look like mom or dad…or a combo of both…there’s no way to tell.

As soon as she whelps this litter…get her fixed and you won’t have to worry about boyfriend leaving the door open.

Well, a min-pin/bischon would be an interesting mix. . .it shouldn’t be anything complicated as far as the pregnancy and remember: ALL PUPPIES ARE CUTE!

Take your pup to the vet to make sure that she’s healthy enough to handle the pregnancy though. . .although she’s matured to have a heat, she may not be physically able to withstand the demands of puppies.

I’d suggest getting your dog fixed asap. . .this kind of thing happens all too often to people who don’t want it to.
