use a light grey eyeshadow all over your lid then a slightly darker one on your crease (your crease is right underneath the bone under your eyebrow- it's pretty easy to locate) this, so far, should look like a neutral smokey eye. next, use liquid eyeliner (an absolute MUST). line your top lid very thin. if you, like me, find it impossible to make your line thin, apply eyeliner first and touch it up with a cotton swab dipped in make up remover then apply eyeshadow. once you get to the end of your eye, extend the line out. michellephan on youtube uses the cat eye look a lot, but toned down and explains it very well. next, you can line your bottom lid also, but this sometimes looks a bit too dark. you can leave it, line it, or use an angled brush with either of the greys you used before and line your bottom lid too. curl your eyelashes and apply a mascara that doesnt make your lashes very long or clumpy. covergirl lash blast mascara is perfect for this. wiggle the wand when applying to make your lashes look fuller and more natural. good luck! I use a dark-ish blue color eyeshadow and put liquid eye liner at the top of my eye then go all the way around like on the bottom part close to my nose and use regular eye liner on the bottom of my eye and make it go all the way up and touch where i started with the liquid eye liner. sorry im not very good at explaining things but i hope this helped :)
Use black eyeshadow and a straight edge makeup brush to line your eyes. Blend lightly with a smudging brush for a smokey look.

cat eye or a smokey eye. the cat eye look is also done by lots of clebrities like angelina jolie.
You can try the "cat-eye" look which is cute and easily done.
