I was just wondering... Does heat protection actually work? I straighten my hair & so I was just wonderingg. & if so , would you suggest dove heat thereapy or tressme ? Or got2b .

I use the chi iron guard. I used to use tresseme but I wrecked my hair because it didn't really "protect" my hair. Then I tried Dove, I don't know but I don't like the texture it gives my hair after straightening it. SO after all of this, my friend recommended the chi iron guard. It WORKS! it's expensive but definately worth it, I used to think that tresseme was THE best but after using the chi one, its a big difference
'ion' iron heat protector its less than a 5er, and really works, you just have to be carefull because it can make our hair look greasy if you put to much on the top layer,
yes, it does work( : I use a brand called "proclaim" I tthink the product is called "glossing shine"
