Who all has heard of the Power Balance wristband?

Answer #1

is that one of those neat looking bracelets? dont they have them in necklaces too?

Answer #2

Those are a scam, if you ask me…they’ve just evolved from the Q-Ray, which costs a lot and does nothing.

Answer #3

Yes… There the performance technology wristbands…well and necklaces.

Answer #4

I wear Kaleb’s necklace all the time.

Answer #5

For a necklace in our local sport shop it’s about $20. I’ve seen them for cheaper

Answer #6

Cool

Answer #7

I seen them on TV. Aren’t they supposed to give you energy and improve your balance? I really don’t see how a bracelet or a necklace can do that. Sounds stupid to me.

Answer #8

Yes, I know what you mean Colleen. But its all a matter of believing in them working. My step moms father is old and feeble, he walks real slow like and takes really short steps cause he is scared of falling and hurting himself. Nut ever since he has been told what this wristband is suppose to be capable of he walks like all other normal people. It was just a huge boost of confidence. It may not be real and be a scam, but its all a matter of just believing in it. Heh…I just think its great that these things have him walking tall and strong again. Its a great feeling seeing him walk like this now.

Answer #9

Yes…read what I wrote under Colleens answer. But atleast there fashionable lol.

Answer #10

Yea, I can understand that. I mean, it works for him, but it is only in his head. I doubt it actually does what it claims to do though. This kind of reminds me of people with OCD. For example, They believe that doing certain rituals will keep a family member alive (turning a light switch on and off exactly 10 times, over and over). So, as long as they do that, they’re family member is staying alive. It is all in their head, just because they do that doesn’t ensure that their family member will live to see another day. Kind of random I know, but still. =P

Answer #11

No…its all in the head pretty much.

Answer #12

I have, My ex bought one for his kung fu practices..they are like $30

Answer #13

some of them are cheaper. There are some at our Hibbits that are around $15 but then there are also some that are $30

Answer #14

i dont believe them. For my reason is because when they do the strength test. when the sales person pulls on your arm you have no idea that they are going to pull on you arm so you will have a week reaction. when the sales person puts the wristband on you. you know that the sales person is going to pull on you arm again so you will have a stronger reaction.
