I am not sure what to say about this...a lot of people say it is a myth, some say it isnt...I say if you think you have it try talking about it with someone professional & see what they have to say about it, if it is even considered a real disorder. After that then you should see if it is healthy or not! I would think that anything done obsessively is considered a bad thing. One must know when or how to control their thoughts, desires, feelings, body parts.
Hope this helps.
Obsessive Thinking Disorder is much like OCD, but it's not the same thing. Where someone with OCD has a compulsive need to follow certain habits, OTD sufferers literally become a slave to their thoughts and habits and deal with anxiety on a regular basis ... fear of almost everything is common with this condition. This is a legitimate disorder, and there is a treatment available. At 14, your problem is in the early stages ... talk to your doctor to prevent it from getting worse.
You sure you dont mean obsessive compulsive disorder? Obsessive thinking disorder would be more like A.D.D ......I have never heard of obsessive thinking disorder in my life. Doesn't mean there isn't a such thing thou
lol i used to have a cleaning fetish and be inspired by 'cleanliness is next to godliness' and i'm not even religious.. it's a bit like a song you get stuck in your head... it goes
I've never heard of Obsessive Thinking Disorder, but I imagine that any kind of disorder isn't healthy to have at any age..
By definition a disorder is not healthy. And there's no actual disorder called OTD. It may be part of OCD.
