Well, I'm assuming you mean brown rice or some type of whole grain rice that isn't white rice. All rice does is contain carbs, which are good for you, but not at night. You're more likely to store those carbs as fat at night instead of digesting it. It's good if you want to gain weight though, just consume 60 minutes prior to bedtime.
I don't think it'll do much damage. However any food at night can give you heartburn. You should also note that eating late at night can disturb your sleep pattern as your body will still have to digest food before it can settle down properly.
