Whenever I run a race, or any fast pasted run for that matter, I get these painful migraines. They always start with my eyes going out of focus and dizziness. Does anyone else get these? ..and is there a solution?? It doesn't happen when I go On long runs, just speed workouts...
if you regularly workout your body should be accustomed to the stress, loss of vision headaches and dizziness are signs that your brain isn't getting enough oxygen, it could also be high blood pressure from your heart not being able to handle the fast circulation.... go to a doctor before working out again, before you seriously hurt yourself....
Lack of oxygen can be a factor, so can dehydration, however it could be your posture when you run, I get headaches when running fast and short distances as well and that is due to posture.
Just like Kahili said but you may also be hungry too, I get them too if I don't eat before doing a workout. Make sure you have food and water in your system.
You're probably dehydrated.
Could be sort of oxygen.
