Have standards been lowered in government?

If you’re talking since 1776…you betcha, but I’m sure they started to decline not long afterwards…In this day and age, there are two sets of standards for those who hold office…the one’s the politician has…and the one’s he/she wants US to think he has…

OR…you know, wasting 700 billion on a war that seems to have been a trumpted up excuse to waste taxpayer money & help drive the country into bankruptcy?

:) Hm…I have no idea where that went. Closing CIA prisons that were secret is a great first step to cleaning up some of the trash, though.

Hmm, I have no idea. We’re in an economic crisis right now and, I really don’t know where the government will take it from here. We don’t need a stimulous bill which isn’t a stimulous bill at all to worsen the economy.
