I didn’t know that about the Boycott, and you are right it’s pretty much stupid, I was disapointed mostly, but still going to see it cause after you read the books, is not like you have much say, on it, I am addicted to them

hardcore fans were pissed because harry potter’s release date got moved from november 08 to july 09. this wouldn’t be a big deal, except the only reason for the change is that the studios noticed there were no big releases slated for july, so they think they can make more money by releasing it then. so a bunch of hardcore fans said they were boycotting harry potter. this, of course, is stupid. why? because there’s not a single hardcore harry potter fan that will ACTUALLY boycott the movie. every single one of them will go see it. so the studio told them to shut up, and they accepted it.
