What will happen to my tattoos as I get older?

I got my first tat at 18 and had no problems. I got my second at 19 and had some small hives in a area around the tattoo. Now I am 20 and I got my third, and I have the same small hives. My mom is allergic to hair dye, but it never really bothered her until she got older. I know she has sensitive skin, but it never effeted her at my age. Will my body try and reject the old (my current) tattoos years down?

well the eagle will start to look like a chicken! Beacreful the Colonel ! Nothing. The tattoos are perm. placed into the skin’s layers. What will happen, is that the part of the body in question will increase of decrease accordingly to your lifestyle. Excercise, lifestyle habbits etc will effect the elastisity of the skin. If you’re a active person, one who runs alot, then the body should maintain the same body tone for as long as you keep the active lifestyle.

Thats one of the problems with tattoos. Everyones bodies reacts differently to the type of ink the artists uses, but you dont know wha type of reaction you may have until you have the tattoo. I have some that have had no problems, no reactions to the ink, etc. The stars on my back however were done with an ink my body did not agree with entirely. They were done over 7 years ago and i stilll break out around then, they still raise up occasionaly and swell also. Its nothing serious though and it shouldnt affect your health in any way. It just irritates your skin occasionaly, but with non scented lotion you can fix that problem. It helps to pay attention to the brand of ink being used when you get tattooed and remember which ones your body agreed with and which ones caused a reaction so you can prevent it if you plan on getting more.

I dont think nothing major will happen other than meaby they will get wrinkeled? If you didnt get any bad reactions to it once you got them, or like a year after you got them, I think nothing else will happen.
