What happens to the skin and hair when a permanent hair removal is done?

Answer #1

The pores are no longer able to produce hair follicles.

Answer #2

If the follicle is removed or destroyed, the hair is gone for good, but if you mean that a hair removal product (like NairĀ®) is used, it will grow back, because NairĀ® dissolves the hair right above the follicle without destroying it. The skin should be OK, but may be red for a while.
