What will happen if my husband has lupus and I get pregnant?

I’m happily married with my husband and he has lupus. I’ve read that lupus is genetic, if I get pregnant what will happen with the baby? Is there a chance I could lose the baby? Am I subject to lupus symptoms as well? I’m worried, any and all answers are helpful.

I think you really ought to research this. Apparently, if you were to have it…the symptons would be chronic complaints including fever, malaise, joint pains, myalgias, fatigue, and temporary loss of cognitive abilities. Lupus is tied to enviromental risk, but it does play a role in the genetic factor (just not as much as the enviromental risk) Females are more likely to get it than men. But keep in mind some people with genetic predisposition for lupus do not contract the condition.
